The Children Are Our Future, Right?

What should I do with my life? Let's see. What do kids dream of doing when they are young? When they are being told that they can do anything they want.
Should I be an astronaut? No. Most funding for NASA has been cut off. Should I be a firefighter? Nope. Do you know how much risking your life for the sake of other people costs? Not very much. Should I be a vet? I do not think so. If I love animals so much, why would I want to see them suffer, when people expect me to be the one to heal them. Oooo, here is a good one, a scientist? But, I doubt I could do that with the education system the way it is these days! An airplane pilot? Well, I would not get much out of that, now would I? It is more of a hobby, in my opinion. Don't you think?
I mean, for god's sake, mom and dad! Look at the world around you!

Mama Grizzly

So, supposedly Sarah Pailin's new 'thing' is calling Conservative mothers, "Mama grizzly bears." She [thinks] she is part of the new feminist movement (if you can call it that)... Because Liberal moms sure do not care about their kids.
Since these mothers are bears, is she going to shoot them, too?

Sleeping Cat

While I was sleeping (or rather laying awake) on a mattress on the floor of my mom's friend's house. Their cat, Zorra, jumped up on the bed and curled her body against mine, fitting perfectly in the curve of my body while I was laying on my side. Snuggling against my chest with her head tucked under my chin. It was like one of those scenes in a movie.
Although she ditched me to sleep at my sister's feet for a while, she came back. And laid against my outstretched arm. It was a moment of complete happiness.

Austin Backyard Farm

I am staying at my Mom's old friend, Ann's house in Austin for a couple of days. I haven't seen her since I was a wee girlie, so it is gonna be an adventure.
She has 2 goats, Pillow and French Fry. Pillow is white and brown, and French Fry is all tan (the color of a french fry). Pillow will eat anything, and French Fry is unbelievably picky. They like to go for walks around the neighborhood, they chase after guys on bicycles, and they like to run and climb. They are like dogs, except they do not jump on you.
They have a bunch of chickens. All of them have names, but I cannot tell you all of them. I know there is a red one named Roda, and that is pretty much it.
They have a big scary turkey they call Mr. Friend. He shows off to much, and makes these weird vibrating bellowing sounds in his chest. He really wants a girlfriend...a little too much...

You Are Supporters of Illegal Immigration

People don't seem to know that one of the biggest supporters of illegal immigration are slaughterhouses.
Most of their employees are illegal immigrants. They are vulnerable. They need fast money to feed their families. And they will do anything to get it. Even if it involves the most unsanitary conditions. They will often except any amount of pay.
The sad thing is that they are stuck in a constant state of poverty. They usually only have enough money to pay for food and pay the rent for the cheapest house (shack) they can find. They will never move up and out of this cycle. It is almost impossible. They can not get another job, they can not afford better conditions.
They often get sick or injured in this business, and usually can not pay for health care. Another sad thing is they still have work so they can pay "the bills." They have no benefits, they just have the job, and hope that is hopeless.
You can stop contributing to this sad cycle by not eating meat from slaughterhouses. This doesn't mean you have to stop eating meat, you can eat it if it is free-range. Free-Range means that the animals are not raised in cages, they are free to roam around. It is also a lot healthier, there are no chemicals, less fat, and there are no fecies (unlike meat that comes from slaughterhouses).
To contribute or not to contribute, that is the question? It is you choice. I was only doing my job, which is to tell the truth, to tell you the facts.

Docter = God?

When your in the hospital and your in pain, if the question of pain medication even goes through your mind, your a drug addict.
Every time one of my family members has gone to the doctor, they came to the conclusion that we were either faking it to get pain meds, or faking it to get attention.
Right now my cousin cannot move. She has blisters in her mouth and on her feet. The doctors have it under 'control'. They are waiting it out...
Doctors only care about the disease, not the person with the disease...

"Doctors are saddists who like to play God and watch lesser people scream." -Bren (Juno)

Sure You Can Push Your Opinion Down Our Throats

Why not. Why shouldn't we believe what the 1% of selfishly wealthy Americans are telling us is wrong with this country. I mean, god for bid if the government wants to expose their overly self righteous greed, for the good of the people. We should protect their poor souls. I am sure deep down inside they do not really mean it, right?
Social justice, now that is just wrong! Helping other people who have less than they do. What the hell, why would we do that?
And come on killing "innocent" people in Iraq, whats the big deal, they are probably all terrorists, too!
Women's rights, jeeze, a woman shouldn't have the right to control her own body. Come on people, do not be ignorant! Even if the baby is born to a crack whore mother, who will wheel it around in a grocery cart, and just leaves it alone for a little bit so she can go have sex with a random guy and get enough dog food to feed her baby...but I am sure he will thank us later!
Religion should get in the way of politics! It is logical reasoning.
You can go ahead and think about this! But do not think about it for too long, who might actually develop your own opinions!

On Burroughs' Work

The method must be purest meat
and not symbolic dressing,
actual visions & actual prisons
as seen then and now.

Prisons and visions presented
with rare descriptions
corresponding exactly to those
of Alcatraz and Rose.

A naked lunch is natural to us,
we eat reality sandwiches.
But allegories are so much lettuce.
Don't hide the madness.
